Belfast’s High street you will find one of Belfast’s
Hidden Gems, "Whites Tavern".
Situated in the aptly named cobbled lane, called Winecellar
Entry.
Whites' - Founded in
1630 as a wine and spirit shop retains the spirit of a by-gone
age. A fascinating display of framed newspaper clippings dating
back 2 century’s create a relaxed atmosphere far removed
from the housel and bustle of the busy streets outside.
This hidden treasure
in the heart of the city is a haven of peace where customers can
converse or simply browse among the many old Belfast artifacts
incorporated into the design. Whites charm draws people back time
after time, but even the first-time customer will immediately
feel at home and welcome, with a mix of good food, good music and
great 'Craic'.
